Privacy Policy — Decagrex Dispatch

Who this is for

Decagrex Dispatch is an internal operations tool built for one specific last-mile delivery company's own drivers, dispatch manager, and CFO. It is not a public service, isn't available to the general public, and isn't directed at children. If you aren't a driver or a member of leadership at that company, this app isn't for you and this policy doesn't apply to you.

Information we collect

Everything below is entered by you or by your leadership for the purpose of running day-to-day dispatch and payroll — none of it is collected for advertising, and none of it is sold or shared with data brokers.

Account information: your driver ID, full name, and phone number.
Authentication: a PIN (leadership accounts) or a one-time sign-in code relayed by your manager (driver accounts). PINs are never stored in plain text — only a salted cryptographic hash is kept, so nobody, including us, can look up your actual PIN.
Work data: route assignments, time-off requests and their approval status, and team chat messages.
Payroll data: stops worked, pay amounts, and deductions, used to generate your paystubs.
Usage records: a basic activity log of account and scheduling changes (who did what, when), kept for accountability.

We do not collect precise location data, do not use advertising or analytics SDKs, and do not access your device's contacts, camera, or photos.

How your information is used

Solely to operate this company's own dispatch, scheduling, time-off, chat, and payroll system: assigning routes, approving time off, running payroll, and letting the team communicate.

Who can see what

Access is role-based and enforced by the server, not just hidden in the app:

Drivers can see their own full details, and see other teammates' names/initials for chat — never their phone numbers, PINs, or pay information.
The manager and CFO can see the full roster, including phone numbers.
Payroll reports and the full activity log are visible to the CFO account only.
A private #leadership chat channel is only reachable by the manager and CFO — the server rejects driver access to it even if requested directly.

Where your information is stored

On a server operated by, and only accessible to, this company — not a third-party chat platform or SaaS vendor. Chat messages are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM). All traffic between the app and the server is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/WSS). We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting services that would send your data off this server.

How long we keep it

For as long as you're active with the company, plus whatever additional period is needed for payroll and employment recordkeeping. If your account is removed, your historical schedule and payroll records are kept for the company's own recordkeeping, but your account can no longer sign in.
